You have to go through the valley to reach the peak

"once we reach the peak we will appreciate it more than the pit"...
Early In my walk with Christ I remember God showing me dreams and visions of me sharing
my testimony's and encouraging His children, I remember saying " YES" to the calling but what I didn't know is my yes was going to take me through some trying times and when those times showed up all I had to lean on was God and the vision.
Over the years I've noticed that I didn't always realize right away that I was in a valley season, Most of the time I would be so frustrated and wore out that I would just find myself in a place of pity and asking God why am I going through so much Spiritual warfare , I thought I was on track, I thought I was in alignment and doing what it is you put on my heart to do. Why Lord?
Then during prayer God would gracefully show me that I am in a season of growth, That I can either grow in my faith and focus on the vision or I could just give up and miss out on all the promises' He has for me.
You see Joseph had a vision that he would be a king and he was so excited he told his family not knowing that the vision came with a valley, God didn't show him the journey he showed him the end and I believe if He would have shown any of us the journey we would say 'NO'. Joseph's story really helped me during my season and has given me the courage to keep going for an expected end.
Today I want to remind you that you have to go through the valley to reach the peak and as we learned from joseph, once we reach the peak we will appreciate it more than the pit, more than the prison and more than the abandonment of men but we will be grateful for all it is worth!
